The Fine Print

Consultations

The consultations are free and come with no obligation. We go over your needs and your goals for the service, and we discuss pricing. If you choose to move forward, a deposit is required for an alterations service and will go towards the final price.

Cancellations

For whatever reason, if you no longer need the service, call (or email contact@studioaneech.com) and cancel within 24 hours of initial agreement and your deposit will be refundable or transferable to another alterations service. If you cancel after those 24 hours, you forfeit the deposit and your garment is returned as is, in whatever stage the work is in.

Hiccups

If something isn't right, let us know within 3 days of pickup. We'll fix it or offer a partial refund. Full refunds are only issued when the issue is on our end, or at our discretion.

DAMAGE & LIABILITY

We take care of every garment and handle it with care. Fabric that is fragile, worn, or already damaged can tear or give way during normal alteration work, and we aren't responsible for damage that comes from a garment's existing condition. Please point out any weak spots or past repairs at your consultation. Where we are responsible for damage, our liability is limited to the cost of the service performed.

Unclaimed items

Finished items left for more than 14 days are considered unclaimed. A $10 fee will apply if they're picked up after the 14 days.

Mobile Seamstress Service

We know there are a lot of working professionals with little time, so we offer a $10 flat-rate drop-off and pick-up service, for any garments altered at Aneech Studio. The flat rate covers the round trip. Trips over 25 miles may incur additional fees.

Deposit

A deposit is required to reserve your spot. It goes toward your ticket price & materials.

Cancellations

We need at least 48 hours notice to cancel due to booking your spot, including materials. With enough notice, your deposit can be rolled over to another class or transferred to another person. Rolled-over deposits are valid for 60 days. With less than 48 hours notice, the deposit is not refunded.

No-shows and late arrivals

Late arrivals are welcome. We are very understanding and can relate to things outside of your control happening at times. Please contact us if you will not be able to arrive, otherwise no-shows forfeit their deposit.

If WE cancel

If we need to cancel a class for any reason, you will have the choice of a full refund or apply to the rescheduled class.

Location

The class location is sent in your booking confirmation email. We are a pop-up sewing studio. Please be advised that some of our classes will be held in other parts of the city and surrounding cities. We will always communicate any location changes, if they shall arise.
